  ΛΙΓΑ ΛΟΓΙΑ ΓΙΑ ΤΗ ΣΥΓΓΡΑΦΕΑ

Koraly Dimitriadis is an Australian-born poet, writer and performer who writes from the feminist standpoint of the complexities of being the daughter of Cypriot migrants. She is the author of the poetry books Love and Fck Poems and Just Give Me The Pills, the former a bestseller for Australian poetry, also translated into Greek as Ποιήματα για αγάπη και για γ--ήσι.

Koraly also makes films and theatre with her poetry. Her short story collection, The Mother Must Die, will be released in 2024 with Puncher and Wattmann. Koraly's fiction manuscript, We Never Said Goodbye, set in Melbourne and Cyprus, was awarded the UNESCO City of Literature residency in Krakow. Her opinion articles/personal essays have been published widely, including international publications in The Washington Post and The Today show. Koraly is the digital writer-in-residence for the Paphos Theatre Excavation Project. Her recent poetry film, Yiayia mou (my grandmother), filmed in the ancient Paphos Theatre last year, is a finalist at the Multicultural Film Festival in Australia this year, and will be part of the exhibition 'Journeys to Cyprus: artists at the Paphos Theatre Excavation’
