FESTIVAL OPENING
LET'S MAKE IT WORK
In the children's books areas
The radio duo Theos Stylianou and Nicolas Ioannides will join us for an interactive discussion to discover how your EU rights can help you build a more balanced, healthier and rewarding career and family life!
Have you ever wondered how do EU rights work for you? If you have, or you are just curious about what the EU does for you, come see us at the European Commission’s new “Let's Make It Work” stand. We are touring Europe with diverse and engaging activities, and now it is your turn! Come see us at Nicosia's Book Festival from the 5 to 6 October, to share your views and learn about your rights!
Urban Agriculture Live Workshop
Every book hides an idea. Every seed hides a garden.
An experiential activity that connects the love of books with nature and farming. Children and their parents will hear a story about nature, take a tour of the urban vegetable garden, plant their own seed or plant, and create a collective story through their own ideas.
The action will be implemented in the urban vegetable garden within the Acropolis Park, located next to the playground, on the upper level of the cafeteria.
Organizer: DUT FEED4FOOD project team
