Tribute to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the writer Alexandros Kotzias

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the prose writer and critic Alexandros Kotzias (1926-1992), one of the greatest representatives of post-war literature in Greek literature, the 11th Nicosia Book Festival is organizing, in collaboration with the Cyprus Directors' Union, a screening of the award-winning film Jaguar (1996), based on Kotzias' novel of the same name and directed by Katerina Evangelakou. The event will be prefaced by Avgi Lilli, a researcher of Kotzias' work and a doctor of modern Greek philology, while the film will be followed by a Q&A by the director with the Cypriot director Kyriakos Tofarides. The event is held under the auspices of the Embassy of Greece in Nicosia.
