The activity:
Through an interactive narrative, children will meet the book's characters and follow the story to the climax of the problem. Then, they will participate in a short comprehension quiz and, with their imagination, create their favorite character and the neighborhood in which he lives, turning listening to the story into a creative experience.
Meet Elena
Elena comes from Pano Dikomo in the Kyrenia province.
From a young age, she loved children and, being an only child, wanted to have many of her own when she grew up.
He still wanted to become a journalist.
She eventually became a teacher and is surrounded by many children every day!
She studied child psychology and pedagogy and then specialized in children with hearing loss.
Since 1992, he has been working in Public schools: Kindergartens, Elementary Schools, School for the Deaf, Special Units.
She lives in Nicosia, adores children and law in general. She loves her animals and plants. She collects stones and falls asleep to historical novels.
"Mrs. Al and Mr. Ka" is her first book and the first in a trilogy. The second book in the series, "Mrs. Al and Mr. Ka - The Restoration," is already out, and will be followed by "Mrs. Al and Mr. Ka - The Revelation."
At the same time, her book "Maria and Joy" is also being released, a publication of the Anti-Cancer Association, which, through a tender story, approaches the difficult topic of cancer and how we communicate it with children.
