SHORT BIOGRAPHY:
Giota H. Diakou is a primary school teacher and a doctoral candidate at the University of Cyprus. Her thesis explores the use of digital technologies for the development of reading literacy. She is passionate about reading, organizing interactive book presentations and literature workshops. She made her writing debut with the fantasy book Doctor Giant (Michael Sideris Publications) and became particularly well-known with the series Agent Astrapi solves mysteries in Pi and Phi! (Bivlioscope Publications) . With the empathy stories of the series Let's Go to School with Anna and Nikos (Bivlioscope Publications), she established herself in the literary spotlight. Her works have won awards and important distinctions in Cyprus and Greece.
