Chiara, the heroine of the book and protagonist of the theatrical presentation, is the author's daughter. The book was inspired by the author's personal experiences as a mother, but also by the experiences of many families she met in the first nine years of her daughter's journey. It is not a biography of Chiara, but a story dedicated to all children who face their own challenges and seek acceptance and light.
