SUMMARY
Like a bright sunset. This is exactly how a new day begins and with it hope is born. The hope that the new day will bring us something special, something different. As is the case with Amalia, a lion cub different from the others, who is trying to find her place in the animal kingdom or rather better in the microcosm of the school. Some days are not so bright for Amalia and perhaps some others she loses her hope.
How will Amalia overcome her fears? How will Amalia manage to fit in with her classmates? Will Amalia manage to make friends?
BRIEF CV
Elena Frixou is a School Psychologist and Positive Parenting Trainer. Through her profession, she supports children and their families to face life's small and big challenges with strength and confidence.
With more than five years of experience, she uses her unique "toolbox", full of kindness, empathy and understanding, to support children who feel the need for psychological help. Through the magical world of psychology, she discovers the unique characteristics of each child - how they learn best, how they interpret the world around them and how they build relationships. At the same time, she helps families improve their communication and connection. Her mission is for every child to feel seen, heard and supported in a meaningful way.
Her love for children and her desire to strengthen their mental resilience and flexibility led her to write children's fairy tales. Her first work, titled "Christopher and the Spray of Grin", was published in 2023 and tells the adventures of a child who learns to manage his desires and difficulties. In 2025, her second fairy tale, "Like a Bright Sunset", followed, which highlights the importance of accepting diversity and being proud of what makes us unique.
Elena believes that fairy tales are a wonderful way to travel into the emotional world of children, discussing issues that concern them, while supporting their families. With her smile and creativity, Elena invites young and old to discover the magic of fairy tales with her.
