PRESENTATION OF A COLLECTION OF SHORT STORIES
by Lisa Cavagio (Nissos Publications)

DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTION
At the presentation of the short story collection "Point of Contact", Dr. Maria Constantinou will talk about the common points of the short stories in the collection, the impressions they left on her and the characteristics that moved her. With the author Lisa Kavayou, they will talk about the reasons that led to their writing, the way in which the author is usually inspired and works on her texts, but also the impact that the writing process itself has on her life. At the same time, they will explore the book itself, but also literature in general, as a point of contact between people, reading as an outlet, writing as creativity and our need for essential humanity and connection. Finally, a selected short story will be narrated with accordion accompaniment by George Boumis.
