1. Κινεζικό + Αγγλικό Τραγούδι: Juan Zhulian + Scarborough Fair (5 λεπτά)

Το Juan Zhulian είναι ένα σύγχρονο κλασικό κινεζικό τραγούδι που εκφράζει τον πόθο μιας γυναίκας για τον αγαπημένο της με ποιητική και μελαγχολική ομορφιά. Το Scarborough Fair είναι ένα κλασικό βρετανικό παραδοσιακό τραγούδι που μιλά για τον καημό ενός στρατιώτη για την αγαπημένη του, χρησιμοποιώντας βότανα ως σύμβολα μνήμης και ακατόρθωτες αποστολές για να αποδώσει έναν έρωτα που καταστράφηκε από τον πόλεμο. Μαζί δημιουργούν έναν διάλογο γύρω από διαχρονικά θέματα όπως ο αποχωρισμός, η αγάπη και η ομορφιά, που παραμένουν κοινά σε διαφορετικούς πολιτισμούς.

2. Ομαδική Επίδειξη Tai Chi (30 λεπτά)

Το Tai Chi, αρχαίο θησαυρό της κινεζικής κουλτούρας, είναι κάτι πολύ περισσότερο από μια μορφή σωματικής άσκησης. Είναι ένας κινούμενος διαλογισμός — μια φιλοσοφία που ενσωματώνει την αρμονία, την ισορροπία και την ενότητα σώματος και νου.
Ειδικά στην Κύπρο, είμαστε ενθουσιασμένοι που βλέπουμε αυτή την τέχνη να αγκαλιάζεται με τόση θέρμη. Ο δάσκαλος Ma Ze, γνήσιος συνεχιστής του στυλ Yang Tai Chi, έχει αφιερώσει πολλά χρόνια στη διδασκαλία τόσο στην Κίνα όσο και στην Κύπρο, φέρνοντας μαζί του εμπειρία και αφοσίωση. Στη σκηνή τον συνοδεύουν οι αφοσιωμένοι Κύπριοι μαθητές του, ζωντανό παράδειγμα της πολιτιστικής ανταλλαγής σε δράση. Μέσα από την εξάσκησή τους, όχι μόνο κατέκτησαν κινήσεις χάρης και ρευστότητας, αλλά βίωσαν και τα οφέλη υγείας και την εσωτερική γαλήνη που χαρίζει το Tai Chi. Με τον καιρό, το αγάπησαν βαθιά.
Το ταξίδι τους αποτελεί ζωντανή απόδειξη ότι ο πολιτισμός μπορεί να ξεπεράσει τα σύνορα και να ενώσει τους ανθρώπους. Ελπίζουμε όλο και περισσότεροι να ανακαλύψουν την ομορφιά του Tai Chi και να γίνουν μάρτυρες τόσο της πολιτιστικής ανταλλαγής όσο και της διαρκούς φιλίας ανάμεσα στην Κύπρο και την Κίνα.

1. A Chinese + English Song: Juan Zhulian + Scarborough Fair (5 minutes)

"Juan Zhulian" is a modern classical Chinese song that expresses a woman's longing for her lover with poetic and melancholic beauty. "Scarborough Fair " is a classic British folk song that tells the story of a soldier's longing for his lover, using herbs as a symbol of commemoration and impossible missions to convey love shattered by war. They jointly created a dialogue about eternal themes such as separation, love, and beauty that are the same in different culture.

2. Tai Chi Group Performance (30 minutes)

Tai Chi, an ancient treasure of Chinese culture, is far more than a form of physical exercise. It is a moving meditation—a philosophy that embodies harmony, balance, and the unity of body and mind.

We are especially delighted to see this art form embraced with such warmth here in Cyprus. Instructor Ma Ze, an authentic inheritor of Yang-style Tai Chi, has devoted many years to teaching both in China and Cyprus, bringing with him extensive experience and dedication. Sharing the stage with him today are his committed Cypriot students, living proof of cultural exchange in action. Through their practice, they have not only mastered movements of grace and fluidity but have also experienced the health benefits and inner peace that Tai Chi imparts. Over time, they have come to love this practice deeply.

Their journey is a vivid testament to how culture can transcend borders and bring people together. We hope that more and more enthusiasts will join in, discovering the beauty of Tai Chi culture and becoming witnesses to both cultural exchange and the enduring friendship between Cyprus and China.
