The publication is the fruit of a creative poetry translation workshop that took place within the framework of the Nicosia Book Fest 2021, at the CAVES Hall in the Acropolis Park.
The aim of the workshop was to translate Cypriot poetry from Greek to Turkish and vice versa, through the collaboration of participants from both communities of the island.
Poets from both communities were invited to translate the poetry of the “other” into their own language. The aim of the workshop was cultural exchange and mutual cultural inspiration of the two communities together!
