The scientific and research community must study such an environment of violent decomposition and restructuring of social organization. The antinomies and the numerous tragic paradoxes, the pathologies of the business, bureaucratic and financial system, the clientelist state, the geopolitical rearrangement of the South-Eastern Mediterranean region, the dizzying expansion of inequalities and the rapid impoverishment of households, the issue of the distribution and redistribution of wealth, the crisis of the state and institutions, all these and other, after all, issues tend to be naturalized. They tend to become regularities and, therefore, deserve to be studied systematically and methodically.
"Prometheus" publishes the 'Annual Review'. Publication – a foundation for the development of theoretical and empirical research and at the same time knowledge.

The "Review" aspires to open a space for dialogue (and not descriptive periodization) without, on the other hand, wanting to transform social and humanistic approaches and analyses into positive sciences.
